In Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, summer brings warm weather, beach trips, and endless fun at Gulf State Park!
Gulf State Park is the place to be this summer as the park is offering plenty of engaging programs and camps. Both educational and fun, these programs provide participants with unique learning experiences. Check out all the excitement happening at Gulf State Park this summer.
Camps

STEAMCamp
June 5-8, 12-15, 19-22, 26-19 & July 17-20, 24-27
9 am - 1 pm
STEAMCamp at The Learning Campus is for children K-3rd grade and is offered four times in June and twice in July. STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. This camp provides opportunities for campers to engage in all five of these topics through creative thinking, problem-solving and teamwork.
Robotics Camp
June 5-8, 12-15, 19-22 & July 24-27
2-5 pm
Kids in third through sixth grade who love to build with Legos will enjoy Robotics Camp. This camp allows participants to get innovative by putting together robotic creations with modular cubelets. Robotics Camp is offered three times in June and once in July at The Learning Campus.

Gulf Camp
July 3-7, 10-14, 17-21, 24-28
8 am - 12 pm
Kayak, cook, bike, create and more at Gulf Camp, presented by Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ambassadors of the Environment team. Gulf Camp involves an engaging week filled with environmental activities and outdoor adventures for those aged 7-13 and their families at the Learning Campus.
Programs

Shark Week
July 10-14
Head to Gulf State Park Fishing and Education Pier from July 10-14 for Shark Week. You’ll learn all about the sharks who live in the Gulf of Mexico through a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, educational programs, and a touch tank. Admission is $3 a day.
Gulf State Park Market
1st and 3rd Saturdays
3-7 p.m.
On the first and third Saturdays of the summer, Gulf State Park is hosting a free market at Lake Shelby. The markets will feature vendors offering local art and food and live music.

Programs at the Learning Campus & Nature Center
All Summer
Both the Learning Campus and Nature Center provide free programs all year long. These programs provide guests with educational presentations about wildlife, outer space, local history and more intriguing topics. You can also participate in guided pier walks that depart from the Nature Center every Friday. View their calendar to see what programs are currently available.
