Winter travelers begin arriving on our shores in November and December. Peak snowbird season on Alabama’s Beaches is January through March, with most guests arriving after the holidays and departing in the first few weeks of March. 

What are the best things to do during winter in Alabama’s Beaches?

Many snowbirds on Alabama’s Beaches enjoy outdoor adventures such as hiking, biking, birding, fishing, and golfing. You’ll also find plenty of other spots to visit during winter, like local museums, art galleries, and shopping centers.

When should I start looking for snowbird rentals for next winter?

Many snowbirds book their stay for the following year as soon as they check out in March. We suggest booking at least six to eight months in advance, so you can secure an accommodation that meets your needs.

Are snowbird rentals cleaned regularly during a long-term stay?
