As the days get warmer and longer, everyone in the Gulf Shores area heads outside to enjoy the beautiful beach views, warm sunshine, fragrant spring flowers and lots of good cooking. We have a number of festivals that celebrate the diverse culture and

culinary history of this area so when you come visit, bring your fork!Here is a sampling of what you can expect to enjoy over the next few weeks:

February 19

10:00 AM – 5:00 PM Orange Beach Seafood Festival and Car Show
Price: Free to the public. $10 for a plate of seafood

9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Brett Robinson's Relay for Life Chili Cook-off
Price: $5 tickets for chili tasting

All proceeds will be directed to The American Cancer Society.

11:30 AM – 2:00 PM Chili for Charity Cook-Off
Price: $10 adults, $5 children 3-12, $30 Tom Jones commemorative bowl and admission

Sample a kaleidoscope of fresh, local seafood, fine wines, crafted micro-brews, arts and crafts and an opportunity for area restaurants to showcase various recipes using only fresh local seafood.

Mind you, these events are in addition to the numerous Mardi Gras parades and arts festivals going on across the area, so go outside. You are sure to find a celebration!
