What to Expect at the Festival

Enjoy live music on two stages and entertainment for all ages as you peruse more than 125 arts and crafts booths. The craft show offers the perfect opportunity to bring home a unique souvenir from a local crafter or artisan from your beach vacation. Celebrate the rich Orange Beach seafood heritage with savory dishes that are sure to satisfy, and of course, you’ll find a hearty helping of traditional festival food, too!

If you’re taking a winter vacation with children, the Kids Zone will be a hit. This year’s annual event boasts a climbing wall, inflatables, games and a children’s performance pavilion. The festival also features a silent auction and a display of military memorabilia for the history buffs in the crowd. New to the event is one for your furry friends: Paws on Parade!

With more than two decades of tradition under its belt, the Orange Beach Seafood Festival and Car Show is sponsored by the Orange Beach Sports Association. The event is the Association’s primary fundraiser to support sports-related activities in Orange Beach including youth baseball, softball and T-Ball. Proceeds are used to purchase uniforms, equipment and insurance and sponsor youth athletic clinics.

Planning for the Festival

Admission is free so no need to pre-purchase any tickets, but you should definitely plan ahead for seasonal specials on lodging. Perhaps you can upgrade your normal accommodations to that special room with the perfect view you’ve always wanted…without expanding your budget!

Also, this festival is in the same month as Valentine’s Day, creating a timely opportunity to celebrate Cupid’s holiday along with amazing local seafood and a terrific car show.
