Escape to the Beach for New Adventures
Is trying something new at the top of your to-do list during a vacation on Alabama’s white-sand beaches? If so, you’re in luck.
Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are brimming with new attractions, restaurants and even lodging options.
Amp up the vacation excitement with an escape-room adventure at one of three new spots in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Bring your best puzzle solvers and see how fast you can break out of a room, sometimes handcuffed together with only an hour to decipher clues and find a way out.
Three escape rooms are now operating in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Each location has a variety of themed rooms including storms, kidnapping and casinos, among others. Can you and your family find a way out within the hour?

When you’re ready for a respite from the sun and sand, take a short drive from the beach to The Factory, one of Gulf Shores’ newest family attractions.
The Factory boasts 12,000 square feet of trampolines and a myriad of other attractions, including obstacle courses, foam pits and arcade
games.
Soccer moms (and dads) this one is for you. Kick around some good times on a special course and try to land a soccer ball in a 21-inch cup in as few “strokes” as possible. Foot golf, the newest sport to hit the Alabama Gulf Coast is available at Gulf Shores’ Craft Farms Golf Resort and Foley’s GlenLakes Golf Club.
After a day exploring all the new Gulf Shores and Orange Beach attractions, park your flip flops at one of three new hotels sprinkled throughout the beach. On the beach is the Best Western Tides in Orange Beach, Springhill Suites overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway at The Wharf in Orange Beach and a new Hampton Inn is now open on Alabama 59 in Gulf Shores.
