34th Annual Frank Brown International Songwriters' Festival - November 8-18. Festival attendees enjoy an up close and personal concert experience and are often able to learn the stories behind the songs as told by the original author. 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Tarawa and Makin Island Living History Event at Fort Morgan. November 2-3 from 8am-5pm. The event will include WWII weapons demonstrations and living history programs sponsored by the Sgt. Foster L. Harrington Detachment #1449 of the Marine Corps League.
2018 Coastal Alabama Couples Classic Golf Tournament at Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club - November 8 at 4pm; November 9,10 and 11 at 9am. Couples golf package $1,200; individual golf package $600.
