Hurricane Isaias Recovery: Visitors May Return to Alabama's Beaches

1:00 pm, Saturday, October 10, 2026

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Alabama affected by Hurricane Isaias, and with our neighbors to the east and north who were more severely impacted by Hurricane Isaias. Gulf Coast communities have always supported one another, and we're standing with our neighbors as they recover.

Visitors may return

The State of Alabama has lifted its mandatory evacuation order, and visitors may return to Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Fort Morgan. Crews are still working on cleanup and power restoration, so please confirm your plans with your lodging provider and any businesses you plan to visit before you travel.
