Both Alabama gulf coast welcome centers are open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and helpful friendly staff offer free vacation planning information, brochures, maps as well as recommendations on our calendar of local events. During the summer season (mid-May through mid-August), the center hours are extended to 6 p.m. on weekdays, and the weekend hours change to 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The visitor centers are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

2017 Lecture Series
Presented by Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism, this free popular series returns January 16 – February 24. Visit the new Gulf Shores Welcome Center (3459 Gulf Shores Pkwy.) for the 2 p.m. lecture series featuring knowledgeable local experts speaking about military history, coastal life history and nature.
2017 Showcasing Series
Presented by Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism, this free popular series also returns January 16 – February 24 to the Orange Beach Welcome Center (23685 Perdido Beach Blvd). The public is encouraged to visit anytime between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. for the local artisan showcases.
