Waves of Wine Festival Set May 9, Orange Beach
Sample more than 150 wines during the Waves of Wine Festival Saturday, May 9 in Orange Beach, and stay to enjoy boat rides, live music and delicious food from well-known Orange Beach restaurants.
The annual festival begins at noon at Caribe Resort, located near Alabama Point. Sip wines selected from vineyards across the country and find the ones that are most pleasing to your palate. Guests will have the opportunity to meet representatives of their favorite selections to learn more about the wines featured at the festival. In addition to sampling new wines, craft beer tastings will provide a new segment to this event.
Three musical acts will perform during the day-long event. Relax with drink in hand to the musical harmonies these live acts provide. A seating area near the stage will be available. When you’re not sampling wine, enjoy a complimentary cruise around the bay from reserved boats docked at the resort.
Tempt your taste buds with hors d’oeuvres by notable Gulf Shores and Orange Beach restaurants, including Cobalt, Sunset Cork Room and Cayman Grill. Cheese and bread selections will also be available.
A limited number of tickets are available at $35 when purchased in advance online or $45 at the gate. Your ticket price includes a cruise around the bay, wine and craft beer samples, hors d’oeuvres, and a goody bag that includes a custom wine glass and wine bag. The event also includes displays by local artists, a humidor section, and wine for purchase.
