Alabama's Beaches

You’ll experience true Southern hospitality on Alabama’s Gulf Coast and will get to know the meaning of, “There are no strangers, just friends we haven’t met yet.” Book direct with locals who know the area and will assist you with finding the hotel, condo or beach house of your dreams. Check out the great spring rates.

While in the area, be sure to try the new restaurants or one of your old favorites. After your meal, listen to some live music featuring local and well-known artists, or soak up the warm Gulf breeze on an outdoor deck and savor a local favorite cocktail, the bushwacker. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a colorful, cotton-candy sunset.

Do you want some heart-pounding excitement in your life? The Alabama Gulf Coast added several new attractions in 2018. Have you tried the highest and longest zipline course in Alabama? Also, check out some of your old favorites such as parasailing, viewing the coast from a helicopter tour, flying your own gyroplane or skydiving.

Spring is also the perfect time to unwind by viewing colorful migratory birds, spotting frolicking dolphins while paddling through Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge and hiking or biking Gulf State Park’s 6,000 acres of pristine coastline and wildlife refuge. Another way to relax is by playing a round of golf at one of the 15 area golf courses. Many of the renowned courses are PGA and Golf Digest rated, and designed by some of golf’s greatest players.
