Memories of Sand Castles and Sunsets
You probably remember visiting Alabama’s Gulf Coast for the first time as a child; building your first sand castle in the sugar-white sand, splashing in the cool turquoise waters of the Gulf and trying seafood for the first time at one of the waterfront restaurants.

Then right around the time school let out for the summer your eyes lighting up when you hear your family making plans for the annual beach trip. Maybe your aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and family friends joined in on the fun each year.
Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism has been helping your family create memories for 25 years. Founded in 1993, the organization promotes the Alabama Gulf Coast as a year-round destination, all while stewarding a thoughtful and sustainable level of growth. In 2017, the destination welcomed more than 4.6 million guests, many of whom visited as a child and now are creating memories with their own children. For our community, tourism provides more than 50,000 travel-related jobs, improved infrastructure, and first-class facilities in Baldwin County. We want to thank you for making our last 25 years successful and look forward to serving you for many years to come.
