Get Your Kicks with Soccer on the Alabama Gulf Coast
November is just around the corner, and for the Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Sports Commission that means it's time for elite soccer on the Alabama Gulf Coast! Players, coaches, family and fans will head to the beach next month for some heated competition on one of our championship-quality fields. A full seven days of soccer action will be here the first week in November, so make it a goal to plan your beach getaway around this exciting time!
Officially kicking off the soccer festivities is the 2015 SEC Women's Soccer Championship. The ladies will be showcasing their skills to see who will be crowned the victor. Ten teams will battle it out starting Monday, November 2 and a champion will be named on Sunday, November 8. The Orange Beach Sportsplex will play host to this exciting tournament. If you're interested in attending, the tickets to watch the games will be available at the gate. Adult tickets are $5 per game and children (K-12) are $2 per day. A live broadcast during the final championship play is scheduled for Sunday, November 8, at 2 p.m. Don't miss this thrilling event or you'll be kicking yourself!

In conjunction with the SEC Women's Soccer Championship, the 2015 Alabama Soccer Festival will be played November 6-8. There will be more than 100 youth teams participating in this fun festival. Come to the fields at the Orange Beach Sportsplex, Gulf Shores Sportsplex and Foley Sportsplex and check out the Alabama Soccer Festival excitement on the Alabama Gulf Coast. The addition of this tournament will give soccer fanatics a chance to see both SEC soccer and youth soccer all weekend long!
