Gulf Place

Gulf Place

Gulf Place (Gulf Shore Main Beach) sits in the heart of Gulf Shores near a plethora of beachside shops and restaurants. This popular beach access boasts a 20-foot-wide concrete promenade that allows wheelchair users to easily roll from the parking lot to the beach. Additionally, this beach has multiple ADA beach mats: one at the west end near West 2nd Street, two in the central beach area, and one at the East Gulf Place at the end of the boardwalk at the resident parking lot. These mats stop just short of the water due to the slope of the shore; however, if lifeguards are on duty, they will be happy to help you reach the Gulf. Parking is $15 per day.
