Alabama’s Beaches are known for delicious, fresh Gulf seafood. Shrimp, crab, oysters, red snapper, grouper, and mahi are among the popular seafood dishes served at restaurants in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan.

Many restaurants in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach offer pet-friendly outdoor dining. Be sure to keep your dog leashed at these restaurants at all times.

While snow crabs and Alaskan king crabs are not native to our Gulf waters, several local eateries offer the seafood delicacy. Our crab trail highlights many of the restaurants that feature crab dishes of all types, including a local favorite--fried crab claws.

Fresh oysters are found on many area restaurants' menus--grilled, fried, steamed or baked. Our oyster trail offers a three-day itinerary that has you dining on oysters for both lunch and dinner.

While you can find plenty of tasty cocktails along our shores, the bushwacker is Alabama’s Beaches iconic drink. It’s a boozy milkshake crafted with rum, coffee liqueur, crème de cacao, cream of coconut, milk or ice cream, and ice.

There are plenty of restaurants with waterfront and outdoor dining in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Fort Morgan. From marinas and back bays to the Gulf, you’ll enjoy gorgeous views and coastal breezes as you dine at the local restaurants on Alabama’s Beaches.

You’ll find lots of kid-friendly restaurants in the area, perfect for dining out with the family. Most restaurants do not offer reservations. If dining with a large group, we suggest avoiding peak times by dining before or after the dinner rush, so your entire party can be seated.
