Historic Blakeley State Park encompasses over 2,100 acres of the largest National Register Historic Site in the eastern United States. Within the park's grounds are the site of the last major battle of the Civil War, including several miles of unspoiled Confederate and Union fortifications associated with the Battle of Fort Blakeley of April 9, 1865; the site and remnants of the important early Alabama town of Blakeley; colonial era homesteads, and evidence of American Indian habitation from the Archaic, Woodland, Mississippian, and Historic periods.

Fort Morgan is a Third System masonry fort built between 1819 and 1833. Standing guard where the bay meets the Gulf of Mexico, the fort played a significant role in the Battle of Mobile Bay in August 1864. Used intermittently through the Spanish American War, World War I and World War II, the site showcases the evolution of seacoast fortifications and adaptations. The site also has nature areas, gift shop and a boat launch. Whatever your reason for visiting, make sure Fort Morgan is a part of your visit to Alabama's beautiful Gulf Coast!

Ocean Camp offers environmental marine education camps and school field trips for children ages 5-13. Groups of 20 or less are welcome at the indoor center while groups over 25 can be accommodated at one of our gulf coast beaches nearby. Located at The Wharf, Ocean Camp Marine Center is open to the public with events related to environmental marine education. The marine center is a perfect learning space with aquariums and encounters with local marine life; centers for environmental learning; a media room plus games to enjoy!

Originally built in 1910 as a schoolhouse, the Orange Beach Indian and Sea Museum now serves as a place where locals and visitors can come and learn about the destination’s Native American and fishing heritage. Many families of early fishermen have donated supplies, collectibles and much more to showcase the early days of our fishing industry. The museum is open Tuesday and Thursday from 9am-4pm. Group tours of five or more guests can be scheduled at other times by making reservations. Admission is free.

This 1,327-acre park is situated in the wetlands of Mobile Delta and is a day-use, picnicking and scenic park with modern camping hook-ups for overnight visitors. Meaher’s boat ramp and fishing pier will appeal to every fisherman. A self-guided walk on two nature trails includes a boardwalk with an up-close view of the beautiful Mobile Delta.
